Fancy Cats Review

The Game

On the odd occasion I do enjoy playing a mobile game and with the release of Fancy Cats I thought it sounded silly. My sister also quite likes cats so wanted her to have access to the game as well. The goal is to build your garden of cats up by playing a match-3 type game and gaining accessories as prizes. At the start you get a cat and more for logging in each day along with some accessories. You can play with these cats inside the garden with other areas to unlock with coins that you gain by playing the core game. That being a match-3 game where you match up cat styled shapes in order to knock packages down. It would have been nice to see some more variation in the game though it does change up a bit with the more you play offering random shapes to mix up the falling order of cat emblems.

While matching the goal is to get the number of packages available to the bottom in order to collect them and there are also power-ups to assist in this. It worked well without a ton of challenge when trying to do so in the number of moves offered and I found it fair. You get so many mission objectives every so many hours and generally when looking at it from a free perspective it works more than fine without being pushy for microtransactions.

Fancy Cats IOS

Those looking for another cat game to play or a match-3 to play on their device will most likely find this solid. It works well with some fun colors, hilarious audio inclusions and cats to play with in a garden. It's also not at all pushy on microtransactions and the game is quite fun at times. It provided great entertainment when I was out and about so it works well for short periods of open time. Hopefully the game will be expanded on a bit more as my only complaint is lack of content or variety of such and hopefully over time that's improved.
