It is time to awaken your inner swordsman with Reaper- Tale of a Pale Swordsman by Hexage. Reaper is a side scrolling hack and slash RPG for your mobile device. With stunning graphics and easy gameplay Reaper is a great pick up and play game with lots of depth. The game has all the elements that a hard core gamer wants in an RPG starting with skills you can choose to upgrade with lots of equipment to pick from. Reaper also has aspects that the casual gamer will like, such as the easy game mechanics and auto attacks. The auto attacking system works by you approaching your target and your character will start attacking by default. This allows you to make plans on how you will defeat your foes which is great because you take on many enemies at a time, but these attacks are not the strongest. The player can also control how the swordsman attacks; all you do is swipe your finger up or down or double tap the screen and you will use a more devastating attack but the stronger attacks use rage so you have to pick the right times to use them. The one aspect of the game that I did not like was how the game was sometimes repetitive but with the price tag of free this is not a big deal. Reaper is a well-crafted game with lots of value, now go and become the Swordsman you were meant to be.
The life of a messenger is hard and can be dangerous. You have to avoid conflict, be punctual and not to mention if they deliver bad news they tend to get shot. The Story of Choices from Behold Studios is a game that is built around the choices the player makes throughout their journey. With 8-bit graphics, funny dialogue and a plethora of choices to make throughout your story creates this game a fun and interesting experience. What I really enjoyed was how accessible the game was, it is nice to be able to do a quick play through when you are on the bus or in class which is something that I have never seen in a game before. These mini playthroughs are all unique and entertaining which works in favour for the game. What I did not like was how there was only type of delivery mission. If there were more types of scenarios that the player could play through would greatly increase the entertainment value of an already fun game. The Story of Choices has is game that is really fun and entertaining, with a solid price of free a hardcore or casual gamer cannot go wrong picking this gem up from the app store. The power of choice is strong, use it wisely.
