Happy Thanksgiving everyone I hope you all had some great family time and most importantly you ate lots of turkey. The first game that I looked at this week was Daddy Long Legs. Your goal in the game is to walk as far as you can go before you fall on your face. This game reminds me of Clop, it has that irritating charm that makes you comeback for more abuse. What gamers will like about this game is that it is a quick pick up and play. This experience also has a simplistic charm, for instance the Daddy Long Legs that you play as is furry and only has two wobbly legs. Now how cute is that? One of the problems that I had with the game was the layout of important buttons. Both the restart button and the leaderboard button are both situated in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. This is a real pain because a gamer will be in the middle of a round and accidently hit one of these buttons and mess up the round. Apart form that little hiccup this is a decent game for killing time.
If you are a Trials fan then I think I might have found a game that you will enjoy. The second that was looked at this week is called Bike Rivals. This game is essentially a hipster or less mainstream version of a Trials game. What gamers will appreciate about this game is that it does what it was made to do well. This experience is a great re skink of a classic game that we have all come to know and love. Where this game excels compared to similar experiences is the control scheme is simple and not hard to use. It accommodates the Trials pros but also the noobs can feel like the pros and enjoy the game. Overall a fun game but if you are looking for a cool and new experience than this is not the game for you.
The third game that I looked at this week was JELLIES! I this game you are helping a fisherman named Bob who while sleeping on his boat let his hand fall in the water. While his hand was in the water these little jellyfish decided that he was encroaching on their territory and took his fingers. Thus starting the quest for sailor Bobs fingers. How you play this game is you connect the various colours of jellies together by touching one and dragging a line to one of the same colour. What adds some difficulty to his game is that each level is timed. Fighting against the clock adds a fun dynamic to the game that keeps you coming back for more. Overall it is a fun game with easy game play. All types of players will find some enjoyment out of this experience. Well everyone I hope you all have a great week and hopefully you can get back to your routines without any hiccups.
