Welcome back everyone for this week’s edition of iOS reviews. I hope you all had a great weekend. Thankfully the sun has returned and life is better. The first game that I am looking at is Madden Mobile. I have chosen this game is because the NFL regular season has just gotten underway. If you are familiar with other EA sports titles then you will love this game. The game is essentially a mobile version of ultimate team. If you are not familiar with ultimate team how it works if you pick your team then you are given a starter pack. The starter pack contains players that you will us to build your team. The way you play the game is you can either play the regular season or play special events as they come. As you progress through the game you earn money that you can spend on more packs so you can build the best team. What gamers will love about this game is how easy to play. The controls are really simple to grasp because you only have a joystick and to preform interceptions and other special moves gamers only have to swipe up on the screen. Overall Madden Mobile is a great game for football fans and gamers alike.
Hello fellow sirs and madams would you like to partake in the joust this evening? So the second game that I checked out is a jousting game. I decided to review this because it intrigued me. If are not familiar with jousting it is when two individuals ride their horses full tilt at each other carrying lances to hit their opponent and score points. As you can probably tell it is an extremely safe sport. The game follows the basic principals of jousting, which is pretty simple so I do not think gamers will get confused wit how to play the game. Gameplay wise it is a 3rd person game, at the start of each match you get a 3, 2, 1 and go count. If you time it properly and when it says go on the screen and you tap the screen you get a boost. While you are charging at your opponent a bar appears on the screen with a dial moving up and down. When the arrow is in the green you hit the dial and your character gets a boost in his charge. When you finally meet your opponent the game goes slow-mo and then you must aim the lance at the indicated target. Rival Knights is a good game that will have gamers riding back for more.
Ready for some epic battles gamers? If you are then you might want to check out AErena. What you do in the game is you build a team of champions. Once you build your team you progress through the game by battling with your team and kicking butt. If you are a fan of Final Fantasy Advanced tactics then you will like this game because it is a turned based strategy game. That is what this game has game has going for it. Now to the negatives, the first and biggest problem that any game should not have is that it does not always want to work. Which is the biggest buzz kill of them all. If a gamer cannot get to the game he or she wants to play while on the go people will just forget about it. The good thing coming out of this though is that right now when you try to start up the game you get a message saying that they are doing maintenance on the game. AErena is a game with lots of potential but still not 100% complete, give it a few weeks so the bugs can be worked out. Well that is a rap everyone have a good week full of gaming.
