It's finally here Farmville 2 from Zynga! All you little farmers can rejoice as you start creating your ultimate farm again! Farmville2 brings back all the elements that made the first game successful also making it run better than its predecessor. This is a plus for the game as the game has not messed with its winning formula. Apart from all that this is essentially the same as the first Farmville and well any game where your objective is to build your own town, at least farmville does this right which is sadly a highlight light. If you were a fan of the first one then you will find hours and hours out of this experience, if are not a fan of this type of game then I would say steer clear as you may find this boring and tedious.
With the release of the Simpsons Taped Out and South Park Stick of Truth it was easy to for us see that a Family Guy game was on the way. TinyCo are the masterminds behind this Family Guy game. Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff is a good throw back to the Family Guy world. It has all the main characters, locations in Quahog that one would want to venture and see and you can even make Quagmire do the Giggity Strut so what’s not to love? A lot actually, apart from doing a good job of recreating the Family Guy universe this game brings nothing new to the table also following the Family Guy formula. This game is really just a re-skinned Farmville or Dragon Vale, you send your people to do tasks which take time to complete and once said task as been completed you gain XP and coins to continue building your town. Another thing I did not like about this game was the title, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff. A title like this sounds like we are going to embark on a journey with our favorite characters like we do in South Park Stick of Truth but we are being misled, as all we do is build our own version of Quahog which is really bummer. I really only see really super fans of Family Guy enjoying this game because this is nothing we haven’t seen before.
Looking for a good puzzle game that will frustrate the hell out of you but also make you feel like a MLG pro? If you are then I can hook you up with a fun little game called Cham Cham (I smile every time I say the name). Cham Cham is kind of a fusion of Cut the Rope and Candy Crush brought to us by Deemedya M.S. Your goal in Cham Cham is to feed a Chameleonfruit and collect stars scatted throughout the level, easy right? Wrong! You have to manipulate certain parts of the world to create hills and valleys, avoid sharp rocks lightening and have precise accuracy when shooting your fruit out of cannons. This game has the addictive feel of Cut the Rope and pushes you to collect all the stars on the map. When you do collect all of them you just want to jump for joy as this is no easy undertaking. What this game borrows from Candy Crush is that you have a certain amount of lives to beat the level and if you do not succeed you have to wait until your lives regenerate, did I mention that the fruit you shoot are also your lives? This just adds another element to the game as you are actually playing with your life. Cham Cham is great little game that borrows the key elements from so of the more successful games on the apps store and does them justice.
